Welcome to 2nd Ammendment, the place to cover all your gun talk. Yes amendment is spelled wrong but we go with what we can. This is all brand new and will gradually get some new things added to the board in order to make your stay more interesting. You will find areas for shooting, rifles, pistols, revolvers, reloading, hunting and accessories. You will also find areas to talk about both gun news and politics to keep you abreast of the things that will affect us as a nation. This board will be a place for you to vent your frustration and fears but, to also give us a brighter outlook to the future of having a nation of free men. We will only be protected from the tyranny of an evergrowing and intrusive government if we the citizens make ourselves heard. We need to make sure our voices are heard loud and clear at every election on the local, state and federal level. We can only do this by working together.

The second Amendment was written for a specific purpose. Scholars and legal minds like to argue if it was for the individual or the militias sanctioined by the state. I see it a bit different, I see it as the one right we have that helps us protect all the others. Yes it is for us to be able to protect ourselves but what is it to protect us from? Above all it's to protect us from losing our other rights. Without this one right none of the others are anything but a pipedream which can be taken away at the whim of those who sit armed among us. Let's not let this happen to us, let's not forget we are free men not dependent on the government but upon ourselves. Let's not forget that all the people who have sacrificed in order for us to have our freedoms and let's honor them by also sacrificing in order to guarantee our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren the same freedoms we have gotten to enjoy.

Here are some rules to follow while you are here, they are not a lot and just require common sense.

House Bill 246

Glenn Beck on the Montana-Made Gun Bill

Glenn Beck interviewed Texas Republican Rep. Leo Berman on his program Thursday. The state representative is pushing similar gun legislation to that recently approved by the Montana Legislature that exempts guns manufactured and sold in-state from federal regulations.

Backers of Montana’s legislation, which was already signed by Democratic Gov. Brian Schweitzer, hope it will set off a legal showdown that tests the fed’s regulatory authority.
